Representative Jay Kaufman's Open House Series, a public policy forum, is doing things a little differently this month. They will be hosting back to back folk concerts for May Music Month!

On Tuesday, May 7th at 7:00 p.m., come to the historic Depot in Lexington Center (13 Depot Square) for a performance by singer/songwriter David Roth. David's songs have found their way to Carnegie Hall, the United Nations, several "Chicken Soup for the Soul" books, the Kennedy Center, NASA's Space Shuttle "Atlantis," Peter, Paul, & Mary concerts, the Kingston Trio's new CD, and two songbooks and twelve CDs of his own!

On Tuesday, May 14th at 7:00 p.m., singer/songwriter Hugh Moffatt will perform! The list of artists who have recorded Hugh's songs includes Jerry Lee Lewis, Ronnie Milsap, Alabama, Dolly Parton, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and Johnny Cash plus many others from all styles of music. He has released nine CDs and toured extensively around the world, although May 14 marks one of his rare New England appearances.

These concerts are FREE and continue a tradition of occasional music evenings to complement the usual policy and political discussions that have marked the 18 years of the forum series!
