Festival Common

The annual Festival on the Common is coming up on November 28th and you are invited! Join your neighbors on the Common for great events and activities. The event is at downtown Woburn Square and it's completely free! There will also be a food court hosted by local groups.

Woburn Rec's Holiday Drop Off

Trying to finish that last minute shopping? Looking for something your children ages 4-12 can do while you scope out the best bargains and greatest treasures?

Have no fear! The Woburn Recreation Department is having a Holiday Drop Off! On December 20th, from 12:30pm to 4:30pm, you can drop off your kid with a snack as they play the day away in a gymnasium.

'Tis the season for some jolly fun! After we've feasted on Thanksgiving and splurged on shopping for Black Friday, we'll all want a fun activity for Saturday.

On November 29, 2014 3pm to 7pm in Woburn Center is the 20th Festival on the Common!

Festival on the Common 2014

On November 29, 2014 3pm to 7pm in Woburn Center is the 20th Festival on the Common! 

The annual Festival on the Common is a traditional, low cost family fun night. The evening is filled with live musical performances of holiday music. Hayrides with live entertainment are offered from 3pm to 7pm. Charmingdale Farms is always present with many animals for the kids and kids at heart to feed and pet.

The lighting of the Common will also take place following the reading of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas by Mayor Galvin.

Holiday Food Drive

Council of Social Concern Logo

The Council of Social Concern located at 2 Merrimac Street in Woburn will be hosting its Holiday Food Drive.This food drive will help benefit families in need be able to celebrate the holidays. This year's goal is to fill 20 baskets with food and beverages for the Food Pantry. You may choose to donate food to the pantry directly by giving them a few items or you may opt to create your own Holiday basket with necessary items, please see below for what items are necessary for the basket.
