The Woburn Public Library is collecting donations for the upcoming book sale. If you'd like to donate, bring your books to the library at 36 Cummings Park starting September 5th. Acceptable items include books, audiobooks and DVDs.

Woburn Public Library's 4th Annual ICE CREAM SOCIAL IS SUNDAY!!!

The fourth annual old-fashioned ICE CREAM SOCIAL will take place on the front lawn of the Woburn Public Library on Sunday, August 3, 2014 from 2 – 5 p.m.

Please join the Friends of the Woburn Public Library for an afternoon of ice cream, lawn games, activities and music. The event is generously sponsored by Whole Foods, Cambridge Rd. Woburn MA. For just $5 per adult and $3 per child under 12, you can enjoy all the ice cream you can eat! Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

The Woburn Public Library Ice Cream Social is postponed until next Sunday Aug. 3rd because of the rain.

Join the Woburn Public Library and friends for a fun filled event. The fourth annual old-fashioned Ice Cream Social. This event will be taking place Sunday, August 3 from 2-5p.m. The afternoon will be filled with sweet ice cream, fun filled games and activities, and lots of good music. With the event being generously sponsored by Whole Foods, the tickets to this fun filled event are only $5 for adults and $2 for children under 12. There will also be a raffle for an Ice Cream Party in a Basket, which you can now enter at the Circulation Desk. 

Today, July 8th, the childrens room at Woburn Public Library will be hosting a Pajama storytime. Children ages 4+ are invited to grab their PJ’s and come down to read some books, and enjoy some yummy snacks. Parents are invited to put on their Pajamas and come also. Arrive at 7 p.m. and stay for 45 minutes.

On Sunday, November 3rd, Woburn Public Library volunteer Linda Olsson will present the next Community Conversation featuring photographs from the Patrick Farino Collection at Woburn Public Library.
