Fort Warren and Boston Harbor’s Civil War Contribution

On Thursday, September 25 at 7PM, join Kevin Rogers, the Friends of the Harbor Islands Community Outreach Coordinator, at the Woburn Public Library for a presentation about life at Fort Warren during the Civil War for both Union soldiers and Confederate prisoners. Mr. Rogers will also share amusing tales from the soldiers and discuss how the other Islands were used during the war as well as the unusual ways in which Boston residents have been involved with the fort. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Woburn Public Library, and light refreshments will be served.
