Kick it for a Cause Branding

SCI is excited to spread the word about this year’s Kick it For A Cause charity kickball event. Woburn Memorial High School graduates Sam Gerry and Noah Dhaliwal founded Kick it For A Cause to help raise awareness and funds for suicide prevention through intramural kickball tournaments, scholarships, educational programs, and legislative action. 

Important dates:

4/30/2022: Team/player registration ends.

5/21/2022: Kick It 2022 tournament, beginning at 2pm

Our most recent Leaders for an Equitable Tomorrow virtual panel had a focus on Nonprofits & Community Organizing. It was held Sunday, March 13th, from 1-2pm. 

Our panelists were:

  • Liora Norwich, Executive Director, Network for Social Justice


SCI is seeking an energetic professional who combines strong attention to detail needed to ensure program compliance with the ability to provide leadership on the substance of SCI AmeriCorps’ programming. The SCI AmeriCorps Program Director oversees our AmeriCorps program to ensure that we achieve our goals and meet the federal AmeriCorps grant requirements. The position will require regular travel throughout Greater Boston. SCI staff members are primarily working remotely at this time, with an office located in Woburn that staff members work out of as needed.
