flier promoting an opportunity for teens to get involved in a vaccine education campaign

Grants of up to $1,000 are available for groups of teens to develop an awareness campaign to encourage more of their peers to get vaccinated; with a priority on population groups with low vaccination rates. With changes to masking policies, all the more reason to make sure as many people as possible are protected by the vaccine!

Volunteer Coaches Needed!

The Teen VEAP (Vaccine Equity Access Project)  is seeking  Volunteer Coaches to help a team of teens to develop a messaging campaign to increase vaccination rates. The Coaches will provide guidance and mentoring through 4 one hour weekly coaching sessions, with support from SCI. After the coaching period, the teen teams will present their ideas to a panel of judges, with up to $1,000 grants awarded to successful teams. Interested in volunteering? This project is funded through CHNA15 DoN funds from Lahey Hospital and Medical Center and Winchester Hospital.
Volunteer Shovelers Needed!

With the inclement weather today and the potential for snow on Monday and Tuesday we are in-need for some more volunteers to shovel seniors in your neighborhood and across Woburn.

We have unmatched seniors in:

  • North Woburn
  • Near the Library
  • Near Joyce Middle School
  • Near Hurld Elementary

We only ask our volunteers to go out to help once the driving conditions are safe. For this ice storm, that probably means some time Saturday.

If you would be a fit for any of these areas please let us know as soon as you can by emailing me, Andrew Gibson, at or texting me at (339) 298-7789.
