Social Capital Inc. (SCI), Mayor Scott Galvin and the City of Woburn, the Woburn Public Library, Woburn Welcomes, and St. John’s Baptist Church are hosting the 2nd annual celebration of Juneteenth in partnership with the Woburn Dept. of Public Works and the Woburn Police Department, with support from Beth Israel Lahey Health Winchester Hospital, the NAACP Mystic Valley Area Branch, the Woburn Democratic City Committee, State Representative Richard Haggerty, State Representative Michelle Ciccolo, the Network For Social Justice, and Kadanse Studios.

The color Orange has become the awareness color to bring all communities together-to remember and honor the lives taken from gun violence. 
This is the seventh year that our Woburn Community has gathered together. We know that Woburn is not immune from gun violence, and we know that our community cares and supports each other.

Social Capital Inc.’s Vaccine Equity and Access Program (VEAP) is partnering with Woburn United Methodist Church (WUMC) and Family Practice Group of Arlington to host a series of COVID vaccine clinics this spring! The clinics will be held at WUMC on Saturday, May 7th from 9am to 12pm, with a second clinic in early June for second doses.
