Woburn Volunteers Shoveling

We're still in need of volunteers to make it through the rest of the winter!

We are recruiting volunteers to help shovel driveways, walkways, and to make sure snow is cleared from other important access points for seniors in need this winter.

The program will pair a volunteer with a senior for the duration of the winter so we can make sure our seniors are able to stay safe and mobile for the duration of the season.

Volunteers Raking

Social Capital Inc. (SCI) is seeking volunteers of all ages to help local seniors with leaf raking this season.

We need volunteers for Saturday, November 21st from 10am to 1pm & Friday, November 27th from 10am to 1pm

This can be a great family volunteer opportunity, and a chance to earn service hours. With it being outdoors, it can also be a good activity for youth groups, while following state and CDC guidelines regarding mask wearing and distancing.

If you are interested in helping out you can email Liandra Reyes at or text RAKE to (339) 298-7789.

T-shirts from SCI will be provided to volunteers. We ask that you follow state and CDC COVID-19 guidelines while volunteering and guidance will be provided for all volunteers.

This program is offered by Social Capital Inc. in partnership with the Woburn Council on Aging.
