Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage month is a celebration of a diverse group of ethnic heritage within the Asian community who bring a wealth of enriched culture to our society.  This celebration will endeavor to build awareness and educate our community on the various cultures and contributions these different Asian ethnic groups have brought to enrich our American Story.  By building this ethnic awareness, we hope that prejudice, stereotypes, and unconscious biases will be recognized within our society so that racism and hatred can be eliminated from the midst of us.  As Asia

Do you want to help a Woburn senior?! SCI is seeking volunteers of all ages to help local seniors with leaf raking this season! This is a great volunteer experience for everyone, especially youth looking for community service hours!

The Lutheran Church of the Redeemer is looking to offer tuition assistance for one child that lives in Woburn between the ages of three and four years old, so they can go to the Little Hands Big Hearts (LHBH) Preschool.

 

LHBH’s goal is to ensure that the child can perform self-help tasks on their own and is comfortable in group situations, while looking ahead to kindergarten.
