Cooking with Kerstin: Chicken Piccata

Kerstin shows you how to make chicken piccata, a recipe that her parents made when she was growing up. Delicious and easy to make! Kerstin takes you through step by step and shows the fun you can have while cooking dinner.

-1 whole lemon
-2 to 3 tablespoons butter
-2 tablespoons capers
-1 cup cooking sherry
-3 chicken breasts, thin sliced
-2 cups flour

1. Slice chicken breasts thin, coat thoroughly in flour
2. Heat butter in pan, and place chicken gently in
3. Cook for 90 seconds each side, remove from pan
4. Add sherry to pan, add more butter if needed
5. Reduce sherry and butter mixture to about half, add capers
6. Add chicken back to pan, cook for another two minutes, or until cooked through
