EVENT OVERVIEW

Network for Social Justice and Social Capital Inc. Present:

Senior Living and Community Giving: A Conversation with Joyce and Bill Cummings

Are you or a loved one considering a move to a senior living community?

Join us on Wednesday, June 23 at 7 PM for a conversation with Giving Pledge philanthropists Joyce and Bill Cummings. Joyce and Bill will share the history and operation of the strictly not-for-profit New Horizons at Choate senior living community.

To provide insight into this exceptional and newly expanded community, they will be joined by New Horizons at Choate Director Christine Coakley of Woburn, and Deputy Director Lisa Yarin, a former longtime resident of Winchester. New Horizons offers a variety of living options including retirement/independent living, assisted living, senior apartments, and the newly-expanded Courtyard Suites.

In what should be a very interactive presentation, Joyce and Bill will also discuss the mission of Cummings Foundation in both the local community, including NFSJ and Social Capital, and as far away as Rwanda.

This Zoom conversation will be informal with easy direct conversation encouraged, so bring your questions! Learn as well from questions of your participating friends.
