Council of Social ConcernPlease help donate to kids in need this summer. The Council of Social Concern’s thrift store, “Fashionable Kids” is accepting donations of new and “nearly new” clean items.  There is an especially critical need for children’s summer clothing in sizes 2T to size 6.  Located at the Council at 2 Merrimac Street, the thrift store is not open to the public, it is only accessible to parents who are currently enrolled in the Family ChildcareSystem at Council of Social Concern.

Stamp Out Hunger Food DriveThe National Association of Letter Carriers is once again having their Food Drive this Saturday, May 9th.  So dig down deep and put together a bag or two of groceries for some of our friends and neighbors right here in Woburn & Winchester who have fallen on some tough times.  Place those bags near your mailbox early this Saturday morning and you letter carrier will pick them up, load them on their truck and bring them to the local Food Pantry.
