Social Capital Inc.’s Vaccine Equity and Access Program (VEAP) is partnering with Woburn United Methodist Church (WUMC) and Family Practice Group of Arlington to host a series of COVID vaccine clinics this spring! The clinics will be held at WUMC on Saturday, May 7th from 9am to 12pm, with a second clinic in early June for second doses.

Grants of up to $1,000 are available for groups of teens to develop an awareness campaign to encourage more of their peers to get vaccinated; with a priority on population groups with low vaccination rates. With changes to masking policies, all the more reason to make sure as many people as possible are protected by the vaccine!

The Teen VEAP (Vaccine Equity Access Project)  is seeking  Volunteer Coaches to help a team of teens to develop a messaging campaign to increase vaccination rates. The Coaches will provide guidance and mentoring through 4 one hour weekly coaching sessions, with support from SCI. After the coaching period, the teen teams will present their ideas to a panel of judges, with up to $1,000 grants awarded to successful teams. Interested in volunteering?
